Friday Find

Following on from last weeks odd names for occupations this weeks friday find brings some wonderfully whimsically named but no less true methods of fishing.

Noodling- A type of fishing using only bare hands
Jigging- This type of fishing involves the use of a lure or drop bait called a jig. It is designed to resemble and move like the prey of a fish.
Trolling- This method is used mainly in commercial fishing as it is designed to catch a mass of fish usually fairly quickly. It involves dragging an artitificial lure, or even a live bait along behind a boat.
bottom bouncing- As the name implies, bottom bouncing apparently involves keeping the bait on or near the bottom of a river

Of course, the BEST way to catch fish is fish calling

Exhibit B.
